Home locksmith work, done at your door
Most home lock problems fall into a handful of jobs: getting you back inside, making sure old keys stop working, fixing hardware that has worn out, or fitting something stronger. A mobile residential locksmith carries the cylinders, pins, deadbolts and key machines to handle these at your address rather than sending you to a shop.
Tell us what is happening when you call — the type of door, the kind of lock and whether anything is damaged — and we’ll give you a price range before a technician sets out.

Rekey or replace?
Rekeying changes the pins inside your existing cylinder so it works with a new key. It is the usual choice after moving in, losing a key or ending a tenancy, as long as the lock itself is in good shape. Replacing makes more sense when the lock is worn, damaged, low quality or when you want an upgrade such as a heavier deadbolt or a keypad lock. We’ll tell you which applies once we see the hardware.
Brands we work with
We carry and service common residential and high-security brands including Yale, Mul-T-Lock, Falcon, ASSA and Schlage, and we can work on most standard locks already on your doors.
Landlords and property managers
We rekey units between tenants, replace mailbox locks, set up master key systems and change locks after a lawful eviction once the sheriff has returned possession of the unit. Let us know how many doors and units are involved and we’ll schedule the work in one visit where possible.

Frequently asked questions
Can you open my front door without breaking the lock?
In most cases, yes. We start with non-destructive entry methods that work on the majority of standard knob locks and deadbolts. Some high-security or damaged locks have to be drilled; if that is likely, we explain why and confirm the price before going ahead.
How long does it take to rekey a house?
It depends on the number of locks and their condition. A typical home with a few exterior doors is usually handled in a single visit; the technician will give you an estimate once they see the hardware.
Can you key all my doors to one key?
Usually, if the locks share the same keyway or brand. When they don’t, we can replace one or two cylinders so everything runs on a single key.
Do I need to be the owner to have locks changed?
You need to show you live at the address or have the owner’s permission. Renters should check their lease and give the landlord a copy of the new key.
